Terms of Service

1. Service description

IndexedAI (indexedai.tech) is an AI-powered platform that helps website owners become discoverable by AI agents. The platform provides:

• Website crawling and Agent Readiness Score calculation (5-axis breakdown)
• Automated generation of llms.txt and llms-full.txt files
• Hosted MCP (Model Context Protocol) endpoints for registered sites (paid plans)
• Analytics on AI agent interactions with your MCP endpoint (paid plans)

2. Plans and billing

IndexedAI offers three plans:

Paid subscriptions are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you agree to Stripe's Services Agreement.

Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time via the billing portal. Access to paid features continues until the end of the current billing period. No refunds are issued for partial billing periods.

Price changes: We will notify you by email at least 30 days before any price increase. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

3. MCP hosting

On paid plans, IndexedAI hosts a public MCP endpoint for each registered site. This endpoint allows AI agents and LLM tools to query your site's content programmatically.

• The MCP endpoint is publicly accessible at a unique URL tied to your site. Do not share this URL in ways you do not intend.
• IndexedAI logs each MCP request (tool called, timestamp, user-agent, IP country, query text) for analytics purposes. These logs are retained for 90 days.
• You are responsible for ensuring the content served through your MCP endpoint complies with applicable law and does not infringe third-party rights.
• IndexedAI may suspend a MCP endpoint if it is used to serve illegal content or causes abuse of our infrastructure.

4. No guarantee of accuracy

The Agent Readiness Score and the generated files are provided for informational purposes only. They are indicative, not certified assessments. IndexedAI makes no representation or warranty — express or implied — as to the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose of any output produced by the service.

Do not rely solely on IndexedAI reports when making business, technical, or compliance decisions.

5. Acceptable use

By using IndexedAI you confirm that:

• You own or have explicit permission to analyse and register the URL you submit. Do not scan or host sites you do not control or have no authorisation to access programmatically.
• You will not use the service to attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system, to harvest data at scale, or for any purpose that violates applicable law.
• You will not submit URLs that contain or link to illegal content.
• You will not attempt to circumvent plan limits, abuse the crawling infrastructure, or interfere with other users' MCP endpoints.

We reserve the right to refuse or terminate access to anyone who violates these conditions, without refund.

6. No liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, IndexedAI and its operator shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from:

• Decisions made based on the analysis or generated files
• Errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in the output
• Service interruptions, data loss, or downtime
• Any third-party content crawled during analysis
• Unauthorised access to your MCP endpoint by third-party AI agents
• Payment failures or billing disputes with Stripe

7. Service availability

IndexedAI is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. The service may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time. In the event of discontinuation of a paid plan, we will provide at least 30 days notice and a pro-rata refund for the unused portion of the billing period.

8. Intellectual property

The llms.txt files generated by IndexedAI are derived from your website content and are provided to you for your own use. You are free to deploy, adapt, and distribute them. IndexedAI retains no ownership over the generated output.

The IndexedAI name, logo, and web interface are the property of the operator and may not be reproduced without permission.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by Italian law. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Italy, unless mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence provides otherwise.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms at any time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. For material changes affecting paid subscribers, we will provide at least 14 days notice by email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
